After the new structure of the group, in 1980 Mr. Mohamed Ali Alyamany the elder son, established his own company along with his brothers Mr. Abdulghani Ali Alyamany, Abdullah Ali Alyamany and sons under the name of Mohamed Ali Alyamany & Bros.
He started a strategic business alliance with the British Leyland as the sole and exclusive Distributor of their products in Yemen and has successfully promoted its sales from 1980 till 1988 when it was taken over by DAF-Netherlands
